Invisalign's almost undetectable aligners mean hardly anyone will know that you’re straightening your teeth.
The Invisalign System combines the 100-year-old science of orthodontics with 3-D computer graphics technology.
Invisalign aligners move your teeth in small increments into their proper final position. Each aligner is calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan, as prescribed by your orthodontist.
To determine if Invisalign is right for you, the first step is to visit our office. If you are a candidate for Invisalign, treatment can begin. After your orthodontist sends treatment instructions, Invisalign will use its computer technology to translate these instructions into a series of clear orthodontic aligners – as few as 12, or up to 48.
You'll wear each aligner for about two weeks, only removing it to eat, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move – week by week, until the final prescribed alignment is attained.

Wire braces can be hard to live with as an adult, both in terms of work and play. With the Invisalign option, we've helped many, many adult patients achieve a straighter, healthier smile. It's just that much easier for adults to make the decision to embark on the process of straightening their teeth because the aligners are almost invisible when worn.
Invisalign Treatment Process
The first step in your Invisalign journey is to book a consultation. We will evaluate your needs and determine if you're a good candidate for Invisalign. If so, X-rays and impressions will be taken of your teeth to create a 3-D impression of your mouth.
The impressions are used to create customized trays that you will wear for 22 hours every day. You will switch to your next set of trays every two weeks, and you should notice your teeth gradually moving into their desired position throughout treatment.
After treatment, you will wear a retainer for three to six months to hold your teeth in place while your jawbone heals.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Your dentist will have to assess your needs and the current state of your oral health to determine the duration of your Invisalign treatment. An estimate of your treatment length should be able to be provided after your initial appointment.
Factors that may influence the duration of your treatment include the misalignment of your teeth or jaw, the shape of your bite, and the amount of movement required to correct the problem.

How often will I have to see the orthodontist during treatment?
Invisalign aligners don't require any adjustments or tightening, you just switch to a new set of aligners every two weeks. Because of this, you will have to make fewer visits to our office.
Your orthodontist will schedule brief appointments every six weeks or so. During these appointments, your dentist will take the opportunity to review your progress and general oral health, answer your questions, and adjust your treatment as required.
